National Queen's Scouts Parade, Windsor Castle, 2010

Following our Annual MOT Inspection by the regional County Band Adviser, our Drum Section was selected to provide a Corps of Drums for the National Queen's Scouts Parade, which is held at Windsor Castle, in front of HRH The Prince of Wales, and the Chief Scout, Bear Grylls.

Music for the Parade was provided by the Band of the Grenadier Guards and the 3rd Davyhulme Scout & Guide Band from Manchester. Our Corps of Drums provided drum beatings for other parts of the Parade, to help the marching Queen's Scouts keep step.

Thanks to Jessica Gilbert for taking the photos. She's a professional photographer, and has worked with bands such as KISS, Metallica, Slipknot and Faith No More to name a few. So we are in great company! One photo was taken by the official Scout Association photographer, Martyn Milner, and others by David Anwyl.

There are currently 9 photos in this set, and 1 video.

St George's Day Parades, Enfield and Haringey, 2010

As in recent years we did two parades, Haringey District in the morning, and Enfield in the afternoon.

This year however, our drum section had been selected to provide a Corps of Drums for the National Queen's Scouts Parade at Windsor Castle. Therefore we asked two former EDSB drummers (Mark Ewington and Jim Heatley) to come out of retirement, and also asked Russell to play drums as well. Photos are by Steve Way and Sebastian Birlet.

There are currently 22 photos in this set.
