Youth Band Associations

TYMBA TYMBA - the Traditional Youth Marching Band Association. We are a member of this Association. Member bands use British-Military traditional movements. All the competitions that we enter are run by TYMBA.

The site includes an excellent Forum for chatting about TYMBA.

A lot of the chat has now moved to the Unofficial TYMBA Forum. There are over 60 bandies on there now, come on in, the water is lovely! ;)

BYBA - the British Youth Band Association. Probably the biggest youth band association in the UK. Different styles are represented. Some TYMBA bands are also members of BYBA, we used to do this in the past, but no longer.

DCUK - Drum Corps UK. Show-style bands association.

The Band and Bugles of The Rifles. The Rifles are a new regiment which recently was created by merging several small regiments including The Light Division, who were a big influence for us.

The Corps of Drums Society is an organisation of bands for all ages. They have the primary aim of preserving and promoting drum and fife/flute and bugle music based on the traditions of the British Army.

Enfield Citadel Band of the Salvation Army. Enfield Citadel Band was founded in Tottenham, north London, in 1892, and soon established a reputation as one of the Salvation Army's leading musical groups. In 1972, with the merging of two Salvation Army corps, the band moved to Enfield, on the outskirts of north London, and assumed its present title.

The Enfield Brass Band. The band originated from the North Middlesex Silver Band and the Enfield Band, and were both formed pre-war.
